Yesterday was a lazy day for me. I woke up at 10:30 due to the time change and sort of spent my morning dragging around the house. My mom and I went shopping for some things for dinner last night, as we were planning on having friends. I did manage to do my Shoulder & Arms P90X Workout, but skipped the Abs (this week is a recovery week, so I can do that at some point this week, right? :p). My mom and I made Scotcheroos for a bake sale in one of the school clubs I'm in (Junior States of America)... we managed to eat quite a bit of it in the process as well. :p
Our family friends came over for dinner at 6 and we had a lovely meal of Chicken White Bean Chili and Salad. We had some laughs, as we always do with this couple. However, once they left, the real fun began! My parents and I somehow got into looking up personality types (I think the website is called 16personalitytypes.com). We had lots of fun laughing at how accurate the assessments of us were! Before we knew it, it was 11:00 and I still had two tests to study for (oops), but it was well worth it!
In other news, I've really fallen off the healthy eating bandwagon recently (my boyfriend of almost a year broke up with me a little while ago before leaving for XC Skiing Junior Nationals in Vermont), and I can definitely tell the difference in my clothes (dang skinny jeans)! So, I'm putting it on here so that it is official... I'm jumping back on this bandwagon full force (planning on doing the Fat Shredder meal plan for a bit). You can now all hold me accountable! :p I guess that this also just goes to show that, yes, everyone falls off the wagon a few times with these things, the trick is that you can't let it bother you too much. Life is too short to be perfect, and when something happens and you're sidetracked for a while, oh well!, just hop back on when you can. :)
Wishing everyone a fabulous week!
